Organ Recital by Alistair Auld

Alistair is a free-lance conductor and organist based in Shrewsbury, a graduate of London University and post-graduate of Durham with performance diplomas from the Royal College of Music and the Royal College of Organists. He has directed large-scale choral and orchestral performances and made two C.D. recordings of choral, organ and swing band music. He has directed choirs at London’s Royal Albert Hall and also in some of England’s Cathedrals.
He is well known in Bahrain as former Musical Director of the Manama Singers, introducing some great choral repertoire to Bahrain: Verdi Requiem, Orff “Carmina Burana”, Brahms “ A German Requiem”, Puccini “Messa Di Gloria”, and Fanshawe ‘’African Sanctus’’.
