Christmas Day

Christmas 1Both the midnight Christmas Eve Communion and the two Family Communion Services at Awali (10am) and the Cathedral (10.30am) were well attended and at the Cathedral we had several officers from HMS Kent, in Bahrain for Christmas, who were delighted to join us. At 9.30am I had a call from Nader Bardastani from the Christmas 2Hussaini Processions who each year present a bunch of flowers on Christmas Day as a sign of respect and hospitality. It is a very gracious gesture and I wonder how I should reciprocate.

Afterwards we joined the Axtell family for their Christmas meal and had a very relaxing afternoon eating a wonderful dinner prepared in three homes and playing games.
