Ethiopia in Bahrain: Sunday 15th February 2015

We were privileged to welcome Esky Girmay as our speaker to the February Living Room Dialogue.Esky is a model designer, film producer and actress involved with the Migrant workers Protection Society. She began with peoples’ common perceptions of Ethiopia: the civil war and the famine (Bob Geldof and Band Aid) and gave her own perspective on Ethiopia, the dignity of her people and her rich history. It was a joy to welcome a few friends from Ethiopia, the MWPS and the French community who joined us for the evening.
